When I was exploring the World Wide Web on my laptop yesterday, one particular online advert caught my eye. The advert said “click here to reclaim thousands in PPI premiums”. To be honest, the advert sounded too good to be true. However, when I visited the website associated with the advert, I discovered that thousands of people from all over the United Kingdom have been able to reclaim PPI premiums from their creditors. I decided to explore the website further and found out that filing a mis-sold PPI compensation claim is incredibly easy. Typically, no court appearances are required. All you have to do is send a letter to your creditors accusing them of mis-selling you a PPI policy. Creditors are currently under enormous pressure from the FSA (Financial Services Authority) to pay for any poor selling tactics that they used to force customers into unwittingly signing up for PPI. Therefore, one letter should be all that is required for your creditors to issue you with a large cheque for all of the PPI payment you have made to them under false pretences. Furthermore, creditors also have to pay you eight percent interest on all PPI payments that they refund. So, you could end up receiving a considerable amount of money.
